Focused, immersive therapy for people who are ready to make meaningful progress — not stay stuck in weekly sessions.
Dr. Carolyn Solo specializes in EMDR intensives designed to support deep trauma healing with care, structure, and integrity.
You’ve been doing everything ‘right’ in therapy — showing up consistently, building insight, learning coping skills — yet still feeling stuck. Trauma work often requires more time, continuity, and focus than traditional weekly sessions can offer.
EMDR intensives are designed for clients who need space to go deeper, stay connected to the work, and build momentum toward real change.

In-person sessions available in Vermont
An EMDR intensive is a focused therapy experience that allows you to work through trauma over a shorter period of time. Instead of spreading sessions out week to week, intensives create space for deeper, more continuous processing.
Weekly therapy can be helpful for ongoing support, but it can sometimes feel slow or interrupted. EMDR intensives are designed to create momentum, allowing you to stay with the work and move through it more fully.
Each intensive includes preparation, focused EMDR sessions, and time for integration. The process is structured but flexible, with pacing guided by your needs and readiness.
We begin with a consultation to assess your goals, history, and readiness. This helps determine whether an intensive is the right fit or if another approach would better support you.
In-person intensives are offered in Stowe, Vermont. We do offer occasional virtual services for clients in Pennsylvania. Many clients travel to Vermont for their in-person intensive.
